Redwire Space, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Cost Estimating & Pricing, to lead the development, implementation, and execution of enterprise-wide cost estimating and pricing practices supporting government and commercial pursuits across all business segments.
 
This role serves as Redwire’s subject matter expert for cost estimating and pricing, providing leadership for proposal development, pricing strategy, estimating methodologies, proposal compliance, and pricing tool administration. The Manager will oversee the enterprise pricing function, manage pricing personnel, and serve as the business owner for ProPricer and related estimating tools.
 
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Business Development, Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to develop compliant, competitive, and executable proposals.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Leadership & Management
  • Lead and develop a team of pricing professionals.
  • Establish enterprise pricing standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop workforce capability through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Support resource planning and workload prioritization across proposal activities.
Cost Estimating & Pricing
  • Lead development of cost estimates and pricing strategies for government and commercial proposals.
  • Direct preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), labor models, material estimates, subcontractor analyses, and indirect cost applications.
  • Review and approve pricing submissions prior to executive review.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements, and customer solicitation requirements.
Enterprise Pricing Governance
  • Own enterprise pricing policies, procedures, templates, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain cost estimating methodologies and estimating databases.
  • Establish proposal review and approval processes.
  • Support pricing audits, DCAA reviews, and customer fact-finding activities.
ProPricer Administration
  • Serve as business owner and administrator for ProPricer.
  • Lead implementation, enhancement, governance, and user adoption efforts.
  • Develop standardized models and templates.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to ensure system effectiveness and integration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Business Development on capture and proposal strategies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Program Management to develop executable estimates.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to pricing, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Ideal Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of cost estimating and pricing experience.
  • 3+ years leading teams or pricing organizations.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government proposals.
  • Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA requirements.
  • Experience with ProPricer or similar pricing tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Aerospace, defense, or government contracting experience.
  • Experience supporting NASA, DoD, Intelligence Community, or Civil Space customers.
  • Experience developing enterprise pricing standards and governance.
  • PMP, CPP, CCEA, or similar certification

Pay Range
 $115,000 - $190,000
