Redwire is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to support their space segment. Cybersecurity plays a crucial role in supporting and optimizing our daily operations. Therefore, we are looking for a driven Cybersecurity Analyst to defend our company through proactive monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management.

 

Position Overview:

As the Cybersecurity Analyst for the space segment in Europe (locations in Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland) You will use data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools to analyze events for the purpose of mitigating threats and take action when necessary. You will work closely with geographically dispersed Information Technology and Cybersecurity teams to create new solutions for existing problems, facilitate new capabilities, support corporate cybersecurity standard operating procedures, and implement configurations in support of cybersecurity best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Use cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis of the system to identify malicious activity.

· Provide timely detection, identification, and alert of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities.

· Lead or participate in incident handling and coordinate across business stakeholders.

· Run regular vulnerability scans and partner with Infra/App teams to set correct priorities.

· Maintain policies (EDR, email security, firewall/IDS/IPS), tune detections, reduce noise, and improve prevention coverage.

· Support threat hunting and purple team exercises with detection engineering.

· Map operational controls to frameworks (NIST CSF/800 53, ISO 27001) and regulatory obligations (PCI, HIPAA, SOX).

· Perform internal control testing.

· support during audits, risk assessments, vendor security review and migration.

· assuring correct security reporting.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· 3 to 5 years of experience in security engineering, IT audit or vulnerability management.

· 2-3 years of experience in IT Systems Admin or network admin.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Problem-solving ability and quality mindset.

· Technical knowledge of:

o SIEM (prefer: Microsoft Sentinel), EDR (Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike), email security (Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint).

o Cloud & M365 security (Azure/Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Purview).

o Vulnerability scanning (Qualys, Tenable), patch orchestration.

o Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS), Windows/Linux, identity & access (SSO/MFA/Conditional Access).

o Scripting/queries: KQL, PowerShell, basic Python or equivalent.

o Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) IT General Controls is considered a plus.

· Fluent in English.
