Join the Redwire Space team in developing and fielding end-to-end innovative mission critical space system solutions for next generation space architecture. At Redwire, you will work closely with customers from concept development through mission operations to ensure mission success.

Summary:

The Chief of Staff (CoS) supports the EVP Space Europe and the EU Senior Leadership Team in delivering Redwire Europe’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The role serves as a central integrator across countries, functions, and business lines, ensuring leadership priorities are translated into clear actions, decisions, and follow-through. In support of these objectives, the Chief of Staff coordinates executive operating rhythms, prepares decision-ready materials, drives cross-functional alignment, and facilitates effective communication across the EU organization and with US leadership. The role also helps strengthen governance, improve execution discipline, elevate risks and opportunities in a timely manner, and ensure that strategic initiatives and special projects assigned by the EVP and EU SLT are implemented effectively and at pace.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical thinking, de-escalation tactics, risk identification, and documentation of action plans for the EVP and key executive leaders.
  • Act as a sounding board for decisions and strategy, and a bridge between the EVP and the business.
  • Act as an effective communicator for internal and external stakeholders, leadership, and other key staff.
  • Hold the team accountable for signature authorization delegations within the unit.
  • Ability to lead through change, including stepping into interim leadership roles where required.
  • Partner with leadership to define and maintain KPIs for the business unit.
  • Coordinate and report out to SLT cross-functional and cross-country projects that support strategic priorities, organizational effectiveness, financial and operational performance, and executive decision-making.

 

  • Work with the US Chief of Staff, EU executive assistants, and key leaders to coordinate the EVP’s and other priority executive calendars, align leadership cadence across time zones, and deconflict competing commitments.
  • Track and prepare materials for key approvals, deadlines, deliverables, and leadership commitments for the EVP and other EU executive leaders.
  • Review and coordinate feedback on policies, process documentation, operating reviews, financial materials, and leadership papers requiring EVP or EU SLT input, approval, or escalation.
  • Develop presentation materials for internal and external audiences, including customers, board of directors, policy leaders, and executive leadership teams.
  • Lead back-office operations and decisions working closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, , and Operational Unit leadership to support business priorities and initiatives. 
  • Partner with financial operations leadership to deliver annual budgets, periodic performance reviews, reforecasts, and financial reports and reviews.
  • Plan and manage the EU leadership operating cadence, including SLT meetings, strategic reviews, decision forums, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Synthesize data and develop executive briefs that outline priorities, decision-points, key customer engagements, and status of KPIs to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, , Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in operations, strategic planning, program management, or executive support roles.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives in a fast‑paced, complex, or highly technical environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional initiatives and managing large, strategic projects.
  • Proven business acumen with experience in strategic growth and long term business strategy formulation.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem‑solving, and risk‑identification skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Affinity with and basic understanding of performance management and financial operations, including familiarity with P&L structures.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to operate effectively across multicultural and cross-country teams.
  • High degree of organizational agility, with the ability to navigate a matrixed international environment, influence without authority, and balance local and corporate priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across diverse teams and functions.
  • Familiarity with governance, compliance, and decision-making processes in a regulated industrial or aerospace environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with business operations tools, automation, reporting systems, and project management methodologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into actionable, measurable plans.
  • Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, hands-on and has the ability to lead through change, including stepping into interim leadership roles when necessary.
