Summary
The Business Analyst is an early-career internal consultant supporting cross-functional requirements gathering, process evaluation, and operational clarity across OPG and enterprise functions. This role partners closely with operations, engineering, policy, and data teams to document processes, define metrics, and assess risks that influence operational consistency. The Business Analyst helps strengthen process governance, and contributes to data readiness and dashboard development.
 
Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews with site and functional stakeholders to document business processes, workflows, and requirements
  • Support definition of KPIs and metrics aligned to organizational objectives and operational needs
  • Assist in integration and policy implementation through process documentation, adherence reviews, and impact assessments
  • Analyze operational, financial, and technological risks within existing processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop recommendations to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, enhance clarity, and strengthen governance practices
  • Partner with the Data Strategy & Operations Manager to define dashboard requirements and validate data readiness
  • Support cross-functional teams with business analysis, data interpretation, and process alignment
Ideal Experience
  • 3–6 years of experience as a business analyst or process-focused role
  • Background in operations or consulting
  • Strong skills in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations, policy, and data teams
  • Experience evaluating operational or process risks preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
