Redwire Space, INC has an opening for a Business Process Lead for Business Intelligence Systems, part of our Information Technology team. This role requires strong functional-technical skills in Business Intelligence processes supporting a public company. Business Intelligence systems include an array of applications that do not naturally fall exclusively within each functional business process (such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, Legal etc.) but span multiple functions and provide enterprise level information and intelligence. The role is responsible for the oversight, development, enhancement, improvement and support of all business intelligence applications at Redwire.
 
Examples of business intelligence work areas would be master data governance (and management), business intelligence, advanced cross functional reporting, enterprise level KPI and KRI reporting, dashboards, service management, Intranet services and other enterprise level information applications. Ultimately, this role could include expert knowledge systems, process instrumentation / optimization and AI as these domains evolve at Redwire. This role focuses on the application layer and business processes and not on the supporting IT infrastructure systems and components.
 
This position will work with and support Redwire’s current ERP implementation that will ultimately be used for finance, supply chain, manufacturing and quality management processes across all business units. Initially the role will focus on establishing the master data management processes that are required within the ERP ecosystem and beyond, the emerging business intelligence applications, dashboards and desired executive level reporting applications. The role requires interaction with all levels of Redwire’s functional teams, various IT teams and business stakeholders to improve, optimize and maintain the integrity and evolution of information management processes.
 
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Exhibit leadership from the Information Technology organization for the evolution of Business Intelligence processes and applications.
  • Participate / lead the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of business intelligence applications across all functional areas and business segments.
  • Responsible for the design, management and evolution of data governance (policies and management) in conjunction with the ERP implementation and working closely with the Data Governance Manager to implement enterprise policies and supporting the ongoing evolution of enterprise applications.
  • Promote and follow solution development life-cycle methodologies (SDLC) and change management best practices in the development and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Frequently liaise and build a network of business stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users to understand needs, identify requirements and prioritize actions.
  • Work with (and direct) chosen implementation partners and technology providers.
  • Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for business intelligence application solutions.
  • Responsible for providing high-level ongoing support and maintenance of deployed business intelligence solutions.
  • Adherence to policies and procedures for change control, in compliance with IT and company standards.
  • Provide support as needed for IT financial budgeting and reporting.
  • Work with other IT process areas (e.g. financial, Supply Chain, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, etc.) to ensure effective and integrated solutions are developed.
  • Work with the CIO Group Compliance Team and Redwire Internal Audit to ensure all controls, including IT controls and SOX controls are implemented and supported. 
  • Provide status updates to CIO Group, program leadership and senior business stakeholders as needed.
 
Ideal Skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field and 10 years of relevant experience. Willing to consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of any ERP applications, with Deltek is a potential plus.
  • Experience working in a US public company and familiarity with SOX requirements.
  • Experience with US government contracting requirements.
  • Experience with solution development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of master data management and business intelligence
  • Experience developing and executing project plans.
  • Functional experience in one or more business areas, such as finance, supply chain and manufacturing, IT Operations etc.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with an ERP, full-life cycle implementation
  • Experience working with a team to deliver enterprise-wide business solutions.
  • Knowledge of master data management and business intelligence
  • Only have done it once with Meridithemonstrable competency with cross functional application processes and technology.
  • Proven ability to deliver cross functional solutions.
