Redwire is seeking a strategic, self-starting, and driven marketing manager to lead marketing strategy and execution for our space business unit. This role is responsible for developing integrated marketing campaigns that elevate Redwire’s reputation as a trusted partner to NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), the U.S. Space Force, and other civil, national security, and commercial space organizations.

This can be a Hybrid (Chantilly, VA area) or fully remote for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a deep understanding of B2B and B2G marketing in the aerospace, space exploration, and defense sectors. They will take initiative in identifying opportunities, crafting narratives, and collaborating across internal teams—including Business Development, Investor Relations, and Program Management—to translate strategic priorities into targeted campaigns, partnerships, and communications that advance Redwire’s role in enabling humanity’s next era of exploration and providing critical space capabilities for national security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Independently develop and execute marketing strategies that support Redwire’s space portfolio priorities.
  • B2B & B2G Campaign Development: Design and manage campaigns that increase awareness and engagement among government and commercial space organizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across Business Development, Investor Relations, and Program Management to align company messaging with customer missions, policy goals, and national security and exploration objectives.
  • Market Positioning: Identify and activate opportunities to feature Redwire’s space technology leadership across global space media, industry associations, and major industry conferences.
  • External Relations: Build and maintain relationships with space-focused media outlets, industry organizations, and conference organizers to secure Redwire’s participation in key events, panels, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Communications & Messaging: Collaborate with the content development team to produce marketing materials—including press releases, blogs, executive remarks and presentations, case studies, and digital content—that highlight Redwire’s impact on missions and partnerships.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Measure and report on campaign effectiveness using data-driven insights to inform strategy, optimize messaging, and demonstrate impact.

Ideal Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public affairs, preferably in aerospace, space technology, or exploration-focused organizations.
  • Proven experience executing integrated B2B and B2G campaigns targeting key stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong understanding of the space ecosystem, including key government agencies, programs, policies, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Established relationships with space industry associations, media outlets, and event organizers.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical, scientific, and policy audiences.
  • Structured and organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment to strategic goals.

Desired Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public affairs, preferably in space, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Experience supporting marketing or communications efforts for space contractors, integrators, or commercial space companies.
  • Familiarity with international collaboration protocols, export controls, and space communications sensitivities.
  • Experience in both marketing and corporate communications disciplines (brand, public relations, events, and digital).
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing performance tools and media monitoring systems.
