Summary
Redwire Space Missions, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Configuration Analyst in our Littleton, CO facility. In this role you’ll be responsible for the execution of configuration management (CM) processes and artifacts across the full portfolio of Space Missions programs. You’ll ensure accuracy, traceability, and control of all technical baselines, engineering changes, documentation, and digital records throughout the lifecycle of spacecraft and product development, from concept through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Execute configuration identification, control, status accounting, and auditing activities for all programs across the Space Missions portfolio of programs.
- Provide input into the creation and updates of program Configuration Management Plans.
- Contribute to the development, improvement, and enforcement of configuration management processes and internal command media.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance digital thread, automation, and efficiency across CM workflows.
- Control engineering documentation including drawings, models, BOMs, specifications, ICDs, schematics, test procedures, and work instructions.
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Change Notices through the full lifecycle—routing, tracking, verifying completeness, and driving closure.
- Work closely with Systems Engineering to ensure requirements traceability is maintained throughout the digital ecosystem.
- Maintain accuracy of product data and metadata within PLM, PDM, MES, and other tools and business systems within the digital ecosystem.
- Support integration of configuration data with MBSE, requirements management, and JIRA-based execution workflows.
- Generate CM metrics, dashboards, and reporting for internal reviews and customer insight.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration management, document control, and/or engineering data management.
- Hands-on experience with PLM, PDM, or equivalent systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation, BOM structures, revision control, and change management processes.
Desired Skills
- Experience leading configuration management in aerospace & defense.
- Working knowledge of configuration management standards.
- Experience with SharePoint, SolidWorks PDM, Team Center, Epsilon3, Jama, Cameo, JIRA/Confluence, and Costpoint.
- Experience with data importing and coding in PowerBI.
- Experience supporting audits (E.g., AS9100) and configuration reviews.
- Experience and direct interface with external customers.
- Experience operating within a digital thread-based ecosystem.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- CM certifications (CMPIC, CMII, or equivalent).

Pay Range
$90,000 - $122,000/yr.

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
